Our heatsetting equipment is recognised by high production capasity and superior quality.
Felts and fabrics for paper machines fall into the following groups:
- Forming fabrics
- Press felts
- Dryer fabrics
The various types differ in weight, thickness and permeability (openness to flow of air/water through the fabric), but for all types, high temperature treatment under controlled conditions is mandatory. Over the years, Alfsen og Gunderson has developed a wide range of hot air systems, designed for the treatment of paper machine clothing. We would recommend the following types, depending on the type of product to be treated:
