Alfsen og Gunderson, established in 1926, is a Norwegian engineering company specializing in water-, air-, drying and filtration technology. As well as our own products and systems, we market specialised products from major international suppliers. We serve primarily industrial firms, offshore, shipping, municipal services and energy producers. Plants and products developed by AG’s engineers are exported worldwide.

Our heat treatment equipment for felts and fabrics used in papermaking is installed with customers in 25 countries: AG is the global leader in this field! Dehumidification systems for drying out ships’ tanks and cargo holds have become virtually standard for newbuild vessels, and are supplied to major shipyards all over the world. Filtration systems for polluting processes are becoming a major export item: almost half of our revenue comes from exports.

Our position as # 1 within heat treatment of felts and fabrics, dust and gas filtration, dehumidification and drying is a result of commitment to technology development in collaboration with customers and Norwegian research environments. Our strategy is to develop AG into a high-technology company within our core business areas: 3% of our annual turnover is earmarked for R&D.
